According to the report, as of June 2023, the number of Internet users in China had reached 1.079 billion, an increase of 11.09 million over December 2022, and the Internet penetration rate reached 76.4%.

In terms of network basic resources, as of June 2023, the total number of domain names in China was 30.24 million, the number of IPv6 active users reached 767 million, and the total number of mobile phone base stations reached 11.29 million, of which 2.937 million 5G base stations were completed and opened, accounting for 26% of the total mobile base stations.

It is worth mentioning that the "report" mentioned that the Internet service experience and users' sense of acquisition have been further improved. In the first quarter, the download rates of mobile and fixed broadband in China increased by 59.9% and 15.1% respectively compared with the same period last year, and mobile data traffic charges continued to decline.

According to reports, as of June this year, the number of users of instant messaging, network video and short video reached 1.047 billion, 1.044 billion and 1.026 billion respectively, with user utilization rates of 97.1%, 96.8% and 95.2%, respectively.

Compared with December 2022, the number of users of online car-hailing, online travel booking and online literature increased by 34.92 million, 30.91 million and 35.92 million respectively, with a growth rate of 8.0%, 7.3% and 7.3% respectively, making them the three fastest-growing applications.
